Karen is a qualified teacher and assessor of special educational needs. In a varied career in education, she has worked as a primary school teacher, as well as teaching literacy and numeracy to adults. In recent years, she has specialised in special educational needs education and assessment and continues to work with a wide age range, including school children, university students and adults in the workplace.

She loves the experience of highlighting the strengths of her clients, and of unravelling the difficulties they have been experiencing. She finds it very rewarding to help provide solutions and recommendations on how to move forward following an assessment.
